The Michael Fitzpatrick Memorial Oaks will commence at Newbridge on Friday week, October 27th and will carry a winner’s prize of €5,400.

Due to a lack of entries the Shelley Fennelly Memorial Open Bitch Stake at Curraheen Park has been deferred by a week.
There will be two major finals at Shelbourne next week with the Dublin Coach Juvenile Derby and the Sporting Press Micro Dog ID culminating on Friday and Saturday nights. There will be special programmes each night.
The Sporting Press Oaks and the Dublin Coach Juvenile Derby will bolster the Shelbourne scene for the next few weeks and there is a varied supporting programme lined up also.

Friday’s card at Tralee will feature the final of the Paul Reidy Construction A3 Stakes plus the semi-finals of the Steve Kennedy Memorial.
The Larry O’Rourke Munster Juvenile Cup is the traditional major event of the latter half of the season at Clonmel and this year’s event will commence on Sunday, October 22nd.
The first round of the Fair Warrior Stake was run at Mullingar last weekend when Acantha Magic and Aulton Jet were the fastest winners.
